#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Since it follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it’s a day that emphasizes giving—rather than receiving—to nonprofits like LLAA, that means a lot. This year’s #GivingTuesday is on December 3rd, so stay tuned for our plans and how you can make a difference!

Why #GivingTuesday?

This year, we want you to think about why you give. Maybe you give to help others or you want to be a part of something bigger than yourself. No matter your reason for giving to LLAA, your gift will be used to improve the lives of those Latina/Latinos students at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. #GivingTuesday not only allows you to experience the joy of giving back, but it can be a powerful way to inspire others to give.
