Scholarships

THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PERIOD IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. PLEASE RETURN EARLY SPRING OF 2025.

The Illinois Latina/Latino Alumni Association (IllinoisLLAA) has awarded over $30,000.00 through multiple scholarships since 2011. Thanks to our generous donors, IllinoisLLAA is able to grant four, $2,500 scholarships this spring 2024! 

Eligibility

• Full-time enrollment as either an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) campus with at least one full-time semester completed at UIUC.
  
• Cannot be a first-semester student or a past IllinoisLLAA scholarship recipient.
• The scholarship is open to Undergraduate and Graduate students.
• Must have a minimum cumulative 2.5/4.0 G.P.A.
• Must have Latina/Latino ancestry (at least one parent of Latina/Latino heritage) or actively participate in preserving and promoting the Latina/Latino culture.
