Aurelio Huerta, Jr.

Aurelio is currently an investment analyst at CFI Partners, a credit-focused $6.1bn hedge fund, where he is responsible for underwriting and monitoring investments covering various sectors and industries across various investment strategies. As an investment analyst, he develops investment theses, conducts industry research, and assists with portfolio management. Prior to joining CFIP, he held internship positions at firms such as Cabrera Capital Markets and Heitman. 

Aurelio earned his B.S. in Finance from the Gies College of Business in 2022, where he also became a brother of Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc., in which he held various leadership positions.

He sits on the Emerging Leaders Council for Bottom Line Chicago, where he is focused on increasing the organization’s profile in the community while expanding its impact among its participants through advocacy, philanthropy, and leadership.

Additionally, he sits on The Academy Group’s Alumni Committee as Treasurer, where he oversees the committee’s finances.

Aurelio heads the Fundraising Committee of LLAA. As Fundraising Chair, he is responsible for the committee’s fundraising efforts through various channels.  

As a first-generation college graduate with proud Mexican heritage, Aurelio casts an emphasis on advocating for underserved individuals through his dedication, hard work, and focus with non-profit organizations.
