Cristian Biviano (GIES’14 and LER ‘20) holds the position of Executive Director at Biviano Career Services LLC and serves as the Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs for Cook County Government's Office of the President. Prior to his current roles, he worked as a Talent Acquisition Partner specializing in Early Professional Hires at IBM. Before joining IBM, Cristian held the position of Assistant Director of Social Justice and Leadership Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In this role, he provided guidance to identity-based groups, developed curriculum for diversity dialogues, and taught courses focused on fostering inclusive communities. Additionally, Cristian serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the University of Illinois Latina/Latino Alumni Association. With a strong passion for social justice and inclusion, Cristian is dedicated to establishing more robust pathways for first-generation minority students to achieve their personal and career aspirations.
