Join the University of Illinois Latina/Latino Alumni Association (LLAA) for its annual LLAA Day of Service to make a change in our community.

Bring a friend and get ready to put in some quality work for the people! Volunteers will be spending the afternoon cleaning up the community, engaging with residents over voter information for the General Election happening on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

This annual event was created in honor of former Assistant Director of La Casa Cultural Latina, Veronica "Ronnie" Kann, as her birthday was in October. She gave so much to Latina/Latino/x students at UIUC. Help continue her legacy to give back in your communities.

Please bring/wear:

  • Comfortable apparel (expect to get your hands dirty)
  • A Illini color sweatshirt
  • Wear sunscreen
  • Mask & practice social distancing

If you cannot join us on Saturday, October 24, but would still like to participate in strengthening our community, please participate in one, or more, of the following to make an impact:

Items to donate for the event:

  • Yard work supplies
  • Working Gloves
  • Trash Bags
  • Snacks
