Nancy Cambron Perez (she/hers/ella) is a scholar-practitioner, HR thought leader, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion champion with 10 years of experience. Her drive is fueled by creating diversity recruitment and retention strategies, partnering with Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development teams, and reimaging the employee experience. Nancy works at Teladoc Health (Teladoc Health recently celebrated their 20th anniversary in telemedicine) where she is currently the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager. Her focus areas include designing and refreshing the Business Resource Groups operating model and framework and developing the DE&I enterprise strategy to support a culture of inclusion and belonging, attract talent, and help cultivate courageous, socially responsible, and empathetic employees. She earned a B.A. in Sociology and Latinx Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a M.Ed. in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago, and an SHRM Essentials of HR Management and Applied Program Management certificates from Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. In her spare time, you will find Nancy running her family’s business, Panaderia Taximaroa, a Mexican Bakery that has been in the Chicagoland area for over 25+ years, on her Peloton bike, and testing out the newest cocktail bars in the city. |
